Mr. Houck's primary responsibilities include environmental resource permitting, wildlife consultation, wetland delineation and assessment, and mitigation planning and design. Mr. Houck will also be responsible for Geographic Information Systems (GIS) analysis.</span> </p> <p><span class="Newsbody"> &quot;We are thrilled to have Jason join our team. We are excited about the opportunities ahead,&quot; Paul Sebert, Senior Environmental Scientist.</span></p> <p><span class="Newsbody">Mr. Houck brings seven years of professional experience. During his graduate studies, he worked for two years on university-led ecological research projects under the direction of the United States Geological Survey in Tennessee and North Carolina. Moreover, Mr. Houck worked as an ecologist, in Florida, for five years. His GIS experience extends across all seven years. Mr. Houck's areas of expertise include environmental assessments and permitting, mitigation planning and design, and tree surveys. In addition, Mr. Houck has extensive experience with roadway corridor studies and Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Studies. </span></p> <p><span class="Newsbody">Mr. Houck holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science, with a Biology Concentration, and a Master of Science degree in Environmental Science from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC). During his graduate studies, he was a GIS instructor for an undergraduate course at UTC. In addition, Mr. Houck served as a researcher on three publications on environmental science and GIS.
