Pioneer Key I Subdivision Retrofit

City of Ocoee

Inwood worked with the City of Ocoee, Florida to retrofit a mobile home park built in the early 1970’s which suffered from deteriorated drainage, roadway, potable water, and sanitary sewer infrastructure. In restoring the damaged infrastructure for the City, Inwood prepared the final design for approximately 4,900 linear feet of 8-inch water main, 80 linear feet of directional bore 8-inch water main, 430 linear feet of 6-inch force main, and 4,800 linear feet of 8-inch sanitary sewer, including 32 new manholes and service connections for more than 140 residents.
Inwood obtained FDEP construction permits for the water main, force main, and sanitary sewer mains located on the project. An FDOT Utility Permit was obtained for the directional bore of 80 feet of 8-inch water main under SR 438 to connect to the City’s existing system. The project was funded by a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) through Orange County, Florida.
