Water Resources - Geographic Information Systems (GIS)

Inwood integrates GIS into all of our water resources projects. In addition to providing excellent mapping capabilities, GIS provides a powerful platform for data organization and analysis. Our clients benefit from utilizing tools, such as the Arc Hydro extension, which provides a faster approach to watershed studies and hydrologic and hydraulic modeling. By employing new technologies, our team has found that formerly time consuming processes can be autmated to increase efficiency.

Inwood’s expertise in handling geographical information efficiently also includes complex 3D and spatial analysis and GPS integrated field data collection. GIS is an integral component of Inwood’s approach to watershed management, infrastructure assessment, floodplain analysis, and stormwater basin retrofit projects.
