FBC’s Donor Development Coordinator, Doug Goldbarth, explained that the blood collected from Inwood’s blood drive can help accident victims, premature babies, cancer patients and other people in need. “Blood shortages could be eliminated if more corporations pledged to host blood drives, like Inwood, four to six times a year,” stated Goldbarth. The next Inwood blood drive is scheduled for Tuesday, May 5, 2009. Numerous employees have already signed up to participate. As a new addition to Inwood’s community involvement initiatives, the firm plans to continue hosting blood drives in the future. “Inwood is pleased to support our neighbors, friends and loved ones through events like the blood drive. We will continue to help FBC and other charitable organizations make a difference in our community,” stated Alex Hull, President of Inwood. Learn more about FBC and how you can get involved |
