Inwood Selected for Poinciana Parkway PD&E Study

​Inwood Consulting Engineers, Inc. has been selected for the Poinciana Parkway Southport Connector PD&E Study for the Florida Department of Transportation, District 5. Kimley-Horn and Associates will be a major partner on this project along with Bowyer Singleton, GEC, ACA, Southeastern Archaeological Research, 3E Consultants, Quest Corporation, and Logan Simpson Design.

​The Southport Connector runs from Florida's Turnpike to Pleasant Hill Road in Osceola County and is part of the County’s 20-year Roadway Program. The purpose of the connector is to meet the increase in traffic and transportation demands in the South Lake Toho area by providing connectivity from the Turnpike to Pleasant Hill Road near Poinciana. The Inwood team is committed to the success of developing the Southport Connector while keeping the important considerations of the social and environmental impacts to the surrounding area.
